Since it achieved full university status in 1997, Hong Kong Metropolitan University has selected and licensed courses from The Open University curriculum, translating and adapting them for its own students.
Working alongside all six Open Universities in China, we’ve already helped 79,000 students study for local qualifications with the highest quality materials and resources.
With over 25,000 students on board, we continue to strengthen our links with the Middle East. We enable students from Saudi Arabia to Kuwait to qualify with internationally recognised awards from a distinguished higher education institute.
When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted in-person training, CGIAR partnered with The Open University to create an interactive online course on plant genetic resource policy, benefiting global food security.
