What are Higher Technical Qualifications?

Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) offer a high-quality route for employers to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of their workforce required for in-demand digital roles. The Open University (OU) is amongst the first institutions to offer this new type of learning solution to employers in England.

Approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education, these qualifications have been crafted with the both the learner and employer in mind, enabling flexibility in study and providing practical skills and experience to navigate and solve recruitment and retention challenges.
