XuetangX
XuetangX was founded in 2013 by Tsinghua University, initially as a MOOC platform, with the mission “New Education, New World,” It has grown to have more than 50 million learners.
XuetangX works closely with the Research Center for Online Education – part of the Ministry of Education, to maximise its research impact. It has been selected as the Deputy Secretary-General organization for China’s Association of Higher Education. XuetangX, also partners with UNESCO’s International Center for Engineering Education (ICEE) as its online education platform provider.
From 2020, Xuetang is delivering an MBA programme, validated by The Open University. XuetangX is licensing content from The Open University’s triple-accredited MBA programme, adapting this to meet local business context. Delivery in is English, and assessment in Chinese.
