At the Elevate Equity event in Milton Keynes, three expert panels discussed how equity can play a crucial part in opening up opportunity for all in the workplace.
Diversity thought leader and broadcaster, June Sarpong OBE, hosted three sessions which covered the hiring process, learning and development and why equity is critical in driving better business outcomes.
Across the three panels, a range of experts from various backgrounds and sectors shared their viewpoints, tips and strategies to enable diverse groups access the opportunities they need to succeed personally and deliver results for the wider organisations.
Our workplaces can provide many opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds, building on our sense of self, identity and purpose. They can offer social mobility opportunities aplenty, but we know that these opportunities are not currently distributed equitably.
